My father's cholesterol was "high" at 6.0, so he fought it down to 4.5 by cutting out all the fats, stopped smoking, exercised more, lost 10kg, kept up the couple of glasses of wine and bam, had a massive stroke.
They don't tell you that low cholesterol is associated with a greater chance of a stroke, do they?
