Looking back at the history of Opuwo the cobalt alone got CLA to a market cap of $150 million when cobalt price was up, then the price crashed and down went the share price, However the cobalt price has now recovered and CLA added more projects with copper gold but here we are back near 3 cents MC $30 Million.
Opuwo has lots of open potential and with 225 million tonne resource so far. I guess the reason they are thinking about a JV would be due to CLA very low MC. It would be better for the company to sell Opuwo but how do you get a good price for Opuwo when the entire company is worth what it is today. This all goes back to the things that happened after MCB was added a very slow drilling programe 3 holes in 11 months at MCB and a SS that was not well received by share holders yet a lot money was spent.
