A few points:
I'd be interested to know by what criteria do you determine whether a stock is "oversold"?
Rather than describe a stock as being oversold or undervalued, I prefer the word "cheap" and hence a potential buy.From my viewpoint your heading might better read "Omg cheap stocks rule the market". Then I whole heartheadly agree.
You talk about "trending upwards". With respect, I fail to see how such trending is a sign that a stock is not oversold, as you seem to imply. Stocks trend can up or down regardless of whether they are oversold.
