It would only be logical that the President of Angola knows very well about CVI...maybe might even be an indirect shareholder through some linked companies (no shortage of linked companies with cvi is there?)
with the fact being that the President personally signs off the granting of these permits/fields...surely he knows very clearly who is getting what.
so would the President himself want CVI to prosper? I think that is a rhetorical question...
