Omicron 5 times less severe than Delta

This may be posted elsewhere but why are the governments and media hysterical for a variant which will give a better immunity than the vaccine and is five times less severe than Delta. Delta was less severe than Alpha. It is much like a cold and some have no symptoms at all. Time to dismantle all restrictions, open up completely and go back to normal.

if they keep up all the government overreach we will know it is about control and not health.
