yes, that's a good post on the physical pain and suffering - putting it into perspective


there is, however, another perspective - and that's the economic perspective - and, at this particular time in history -

"This whole pandemic is a nothing burger in the course of history."


that may well be a very wide gap away from the truth


The bubonic plague also caused major social and economic changes both during and after ---------- it would be good for anyone here to read about that.


however, Covid 19 has come at a very very very special time in history


a time when the world was probably in the early stages of one of the greatest times of economic changes in history - the change in power from the USA towards the East

but, also - an even bigger change that will blow all changes before it away - the change of human society from human labour to a full machine based society which will use machines instead of humans and will use intelligence which is far beyond the intellect of any human who has ever lived


Covid has arrived pretty much as the first guests to that party have begun to arrive -

and, IMO - it will be part of the change - but, may well bring on a fair bit earlier - some of the most massive changes in the way that we live - or have lived - ever

ever meaning - even before homo sapiens


how so?

well, Covid has chewed up the credit card limit something shocking

if it wasn't bad enough before - then, it's now diabolical


which - may well be a good thing and not a bad thing - because desperate people do desperate things - and, many many nations are going to be very desperate after the short term accounts arrive for the Covid party expenses

so - that may well bring desperate measures - earlier than normal.


We must not underestimate our time in history -------- this is not 1352 - this is 2021

a vastly different time in the human story
