Time will tell what we are dealing with here.

Could be much more transmissible, less deadly strain (ideal). This is what happens to many viruses, look at the Spanish flu.

Could be a wildly deadly strain in which case I'm hoping the vaccines still prevent serious disease (no evidence yet that vaccines aren't effective against it).

We will know in a couple weeks. Just happy to live in a country where the antivaxxers make up such a small (yet still loud) minority.
