    Currently the IMF holds 3217 tonnes of Gold and selling some has been favoured by members of the G7 group of companies recently.
    But none can be sold without the approval of the US congress!!
    With an underlying strong Gold market, such sales if handled responsibly would have little adverse effect on the POG. IMHO
