    Good morning guys,

I wanted to follow through on my comments from last night and post some of the answers I found out about the EVE (OMNI) product GLUCOCONTROL. My main concerns, as I mentioned, in the other post was a " magic" all meal powder to heal all ails for diabetics. I want to make sure I don't find any skeletons in the closet and spoil my investment.

Here is what I went digging for.

    MY QUESTIONS :
    1) Is GLUCOCONTROL a powder to replace a full meal for diabetics?

    2) Is there any support for the product from the medical community?

    3) Has there been any research/scientific papers done on its effectiveness to treat Glycaemic levels and have there been symposiums conducted by Medical Researchers to discuss this with Endocrinologists & Gastroenterologists?

    4) What are the Sales Volumes and Review Stars saying about the product, in other words is it popular?

    FINDINGS
I was very pleased with the results and what I read throughout the day and last night about GLUCOCONTROL.
    1) It was a pre-meal powder not a full meal powder
    2) There is strong supportive evidence that it controls Glycaemic levels for Type 2 Diabetic patients.
    3) There is confidence from the global medical community for GLUCOCONTROL
    4) There has been papers written on it and symposiums conducted by gut and endocrine specialists
    5) It is popular amongst sales outlets in Australia with an average of 3.5/5 of the sites I looked at some were sold out of the powder.

I believe, IMO. this should be well received in CHINA to help diabetics. (These are just my comments. I am not a medical expert or marketing specialist)

Here are some information to support my comments.

In the second project, Melbourne-based nutrition specialist Omni Innovation says it has developed a pre-meal shake that reduces the spikes in blood sugar levels after a high GI meal, and improves overall glycaemic control (HbA1c) in the long-term.
GlucoControl uses a blend of proteins from whey and milk, and vegetable fibre extracts, to slow the digestion of a meal, with slower emptying of stomach contents, and slower conversion of carbohydrates to sugars.
Gastroenterologist Dr Chris Rayner, who was involved in the study, said the pre-meal drink would appeal to the broad community of people living with type 2 diabetes.
“Better control of blood glucose, as reflected not only in HbA1c but also in the rise in blood glucose after meals, helps prevent or delay the serious complications that can develop in type 2 diabetes, which include vision impairment, vascular damage, and even amputations,” Dr Rayner said.

GlucoControl reduces the spikes in blood sugar levels

A world-first, non-pharmaceutical product has been released to the market that is proven to reduce the dangerous blood sugar spikes that over time, often lead to serious side effects.
In a recent research study[1], a convenient pre-meal drink, has been found to reduce the spikes in blood sugar levels after a high GI meal and improve overall glycaemic control (HbA1c) in the long term.

[1] The findings were presented at The European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) Annual Meeting in Germany
The product evaluated in the study is manufactured by Melbourne-based medical nutrition specialist Omni Innovation, and supplied in Australia as Faulding© GlucoControl™
Dr Chris Rayner, an Australian Gastroenterologist involved in the study said a dietary approach to controlling blood glucose, such as this novel pre-meal drink concept, would have enormous appeal to the broad community of people living with type 2 diabetes.
“Better control of blood glucose, as reflected not only in HbA1c but also in the rise in blood glucose after meals, helps prevent or delay the serious complications that can develop in type 2 diabetes, which include vision impairment, vascular damage and even amputations.”
Omni Innovation’s pre meal shake is a result of six years and more than $5 million in research and development. Clinical trials show it reduces the Glyceamic Index (GI) of food and drink and controls the spikes in blood glucose which, over time, cause damage associated with the disease.
