    watching 7.30 report on Buru Energy

    Seems like a lot of opposition to this going ahead from the traditional custonians of the land and locals especially. and i can understand some of their concerns too, esp in relationt to risk of water contamination. We've seen it before with other companies even when other companies have said it won't happn or there's minimal risk, etc. You just don't know. Considering many indigenous peoples were the first peoples to inhabit this land we call Australia I would hope the consultation process gives them an equal/fair say as much as everyone else. Then again, everything these days is a risk on many diff levels.
