    Hi,

I've been following the gold story very seriously since 1998 - have lost a lot of money in the doing, but keep telling myself I've been years ahead of my time -

    ----- anyway

I was intrigued by a paper that was published on Jim Puplava's site Financial Sense Online as a tutorial on 17 Nov 2003 and have kept it.

Among other things, it said - ....Watch gold in terms of the South African Rand. When it breaks out, there we are going to some serious fire works.

How can you check for the break? Two ways: one way is to join our free newsletter (if you are not a paid subscriber) where we will warn you when such an event occurs, the other is to do the work yourself.

Go to www.stockcharts.com then in the box where you enter the symbol, type the following symbols exactly as I am doing now $GOLD:$ZAR . ........
    ---

---- and I've just done that. If we're lucky you can see the result through the link here ----->

    http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/SC.web?c=%20$GOLD:$ZAR,uu[w,a]dallynay[df][pb50!b200!f][iUp89,21,55]&pref=G .

The full article should appear at http://www.financialsense.com/fsu/editorials/ti/111703.html - at least it still does for me.

Make of it what you will.

I hold both gold and silver, though silver's the better go, for mine.

    bye.dub
