i did some research over the weekend and found that a company called Gencor (originally General mining & finance corporation) explored this area in the 1970s.
they found uranium at hakskeen and are also responsible for the uranium find at PDN's Langer Heinrich. the proven ore reserve for Hakskeen (determined by Gencor) was 361250t of u308 @331g/t. the initial ore reserve estimate for Langer Heinrich was 55.06mt at an average grade of 400g/t.
