Dr Denis Wade has a depth of experience in the development of research based health care products in Australia and commercialisation of these technologies in the global market.

Denis was formerly Managing Director of Johnson & Johnson Research Pty Ltd ("J&J") from 1988-2003 and Chairman from 1989 to March 2003. For 10 years he was a member of J&J's US-based Corporate Office of Science & Technology and its Business Development Council. He was the former Foundation Professor of Clinical Pharmacology at the University of New South Wales. He also serves on industry bodies in Australia, is a former President of the Australian Society of Clinical and Experimental Pharmacology and has held senior positions in the International Union of Pharmacology, serving as Chairman of the Clinical Pharmacology Section.

Dr Wade holds a bachelor of medicine and surgery, is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering.
