No problems CC, I don't get to many meetings but when I do I post my thoughts/opinions.
The last CPL meeting I attended was back in 2001 when CPL was XEN and on the verge of a huge gas find at ELH's. It didn't pan out as we all hoped (as we were screwed by a major US company), I hope we don't go the same way again.
Anyway over the past few years I have been happy with CPL, the demise in share price (that seems to align with Gene leaving) is somewhat concerning but I do remind myself of the huge $'s that the big end of town has put in (@ around $1.80??) and that they still hold.
Given the current prices it easy to criticise the Directors, but I am unsure as to what more that they can do other than to keep plugging away and commercialise Stage 1 and start selling coal.
It has been said that off take agreements are unlikely to be agreed to now as coal prices are down and demand low, no major would agree to future purchases without a slice of the project as a sweetener - given current sentiment and prices I support an apparent decision by CPL not to give too much away in order to secure a JV partner.
It is concerning to see such low prices, but to me they reflect paper loses/missed profits. I brought yesterday at 30 cents and immediately placed an order at 25 cents if that gets taken out I will replace it with another order at 20 cents. I would prefer the prices go higher but I will increase my holdings if they go lower.
I can be very patient (I have been holding for around 15 years).
