The construction of the three Singapore plants is on-schedule and the Company has been
advised by JJ Lurgi that they are on track to meet delivery deadlines, with the three Singapore
plants due to be mechanically complete by September 2007, October 2007 and December 2007.
When completed in December 2007, this will be one of the largest biodiesel production facilities
in the world.

NFPL has been granted Pioneer Tax Status by the Singapore Economic Development Board
which, subject to specific qualifying conditions, will result in no income tax being paid by NFPL
for a period of 10 years. Under certain circumstances, the tax-free period may be extended to 15
years.
