I guess the basis the CO2 deal is close could be attributed to the RS ann where ELK stated they were well advanced in discussion reg CO2 ect.
However I believe the landscape regarding acquiring CO2 is changing rapidly and the longer the wait the better the deal for ELK will be.
I see it as Grieve is money in the bank and they have bigger fish to fry.
The upcoming Montana Gas plays could be huge and as hard as the wait on Grieve is in the long run will benefit us all. Of course having said that there could be an Ann tomorrow saying they have stitched up a CO2 JV. It’s all good.
