Lynas has the world's most extensive on site monitoring as I understand it with a number of AELB staff present with the authority to shut the plant down if it violates Lynas agreements with the government.
Lynas also posts the sensor information right at the front gate if I recall correctly.
So if it is so closely monitored and the proper protocols are being adhered to, what is the issue?
By the time of the election there will be a data base to draw from which should be sufficient for a simple and quick analysis. However, as long as the AELB staff are doing their jobs, this should be sufficient.
