Phosphate Resources Ltd Record shipments The Board advises that continued strong demand for product and favourable weather conditions has enabled the company to ship a record amount of 262,310 tonnes of phosphate from Christmas Island for the first quarter of the 2008/9 financial year. The first quarter is normally a good shipping period but the results are an increase of 35,000 tonnes over the previous best results which were achieved in the first quarter of the 2007/8 year.
