Huge own goals by the Eritrean government the whole HRW terrorizing Eritrean is ridiculous and the bleating about the USA and western countries trying to destabilize the country just shows that are worried about being toppled.
Trying to stir up anti western feeling is hardily going to get people rushing to invest in western mining companies in the country or attract foreign investment.
The blocking of al jazeera seems a bit of a panic measure as well.

Mind you if they are toppled investment may start to flood in, i remember how fast the oil people were trying to do deals when Gaddafi was toppled.
Geologically Eritrea is very promising i expect Chalice to make further discoveries there but would they pour money in to any future discoveries under the present circumstances?
