Thanks to those who found my post informative, if it has helped anyone in any way, I am glad.
Sharing information benefits us all, and the best way to make decisions on investment opportunities is to find out as much as possible about a company, its story, management, product and marketability.
After learning webphones uses, all the speculation in respect to the actual product (the webphone) is a waste of time and energy. Anyone who doubts the webphone, imo, doesn't understand the concept.
The webphone will fill a void, a huge rapidly growing void.
Pie has been around for about 15 years, with a dedicated team of innovative "techies" developing products, one being the webphone. As technogoly changes, the webphone will change accordingly.
After speaking with Cam Smith, he indicated to me, at this time, the most important hurdle now, is the trial proving to be successful and Telstra and Pienetworks signing a contract.
Telstra came knocking on Pies door. Cam Smith says Pie and Telstra have a very good working relationship and it is much easier having a Telco come to you instead of you trying to get in the door to them.
He isn't worried about competition as there is nothing out there like the webphone...it is unique.
I raised the issue of updates with Cam and he said there will another update when the trial is complete. He felt the announcement Telsta published was a huge wrap for the webphone and great step forward for Pie.
