I also have an energy stock in my portfolio which about 12 months ago was consolidated at 5-1 giving a consolidated share price of 55 cents. That energy stock is today trading at 14 cents.
The most important point in my view is the consolidation needs to be timed to coincide with a string of positive Ann's being released as otherwise we become the plaything of the day traders. That being said I agree a consolidation needs to be done but maybe the end of 2015 is too soon and we would be better off waiting until we have reports on some of the proposed drills in 2016. This would also give the shareholders with an unmarketable
Parcel to receive a higher price for their shares as after all they also risked their money and although a small amount to some is probably quite a lot of money to them.
