"As well as iron ore in the NT there are other possibilities not to be overlooked.
Between the Tolmer Group sandstones and the granite basement there is a member called the Buckshee Breccia which is a hematitic brecciated formation. Noone knows if this formation is present at Hayes Creek beneath the Tolmer Group which runs the length of the tenement - but interesting enough in other areas it carries phosphate - 5 million tonnes at 10% P2O5 north at an area south of Rum Jungle. "If none would have looked -none would have found" Phosphate is a far more exciting commodity at the moment than uranium.
