I would never assume that the Mining Lease approval is a no brainer.

Although it annoys me that the government department inefficiency in dealing with simple paperwork.

MY SUMMARY OF GOVERNMENT VS PRIVATE ENTERPRISE --

ACCOUNTABILITY -
Private enterprise must get it right or your out the door.
Government workers gets transferred to another department if they stuff up.

FINANCE -
Private enterprise must be productive & competitive to survive.
Government workers waste tax payers time & money with little results.

REWARDS -
Private enterprise gets to keep their job for all the hard work.
Government workers gets stress leave, extra super, higher wages and extra benefit for being incompetent.
