Without the balance sheet the cash-flow statement cannot be interpreted in full context. Movements in balance sheet items are vital to understanding the true cash-flow generated - i.e. was cash-flow generated by dragging supplier payments.
You know, if someone is fudging the balance sheet then that would have a flow-on impact on the cash-flow statement - thus no statement is immune. Not all P&L's are useless, for many companies where the P&L and Cashflow statements align there is useful information in both.
Yeah we should see cash-flows increasing through the 3rd and 4th quarters, just the addition of the CIA business for the entire quarterly will substantially boost cash-flows.
