Yep, I agree. Seeing some recent smaller cap companies going ex div, the div yield was about 6% based on the peak SP. As I have stated in another post, SSM should hit 58c for the same proportion of div yield. I won't dare to imagine the SP going that high (but of course, I wouldn't mind:D). EHL held up pretty well on ex div but on the other hand, SDG slipped much more than the div on Friday. Will have to judge when the ex div date is nearer.
