One would imagine it is the same. Everything is essentially "automated". They don't use ground control, so no requirement to pre-process a capture area.
Major changes being:
- camera technology - see next gen camera discussions (flying higher and faster for same resolution/quality - or same capture time for higher res); - distance from an airport to a capture location - so route planning; - aircraft fuel consumption (electric might make this interesting in due course); and - (for now) fuel price.
Likewise - BVLOS drones (eg Insitu Scan Eagle) may have a significant impact to the price of capture in time, but the drones won't be cheap.
