I agree that the industry acceptance would take time here and won't happen overnight. Dyesol and investors would have to think ahead of their time.

I guess if DSC can be produced cheaply as durable thin films or light weight paint coats on materials.. Then:

Applications would be endless ranging from building materials, aviation (solar aircraft & spacecraft), shipping... We can even use as building materials for our Moon & Mars bases.

Just have to let your imagination running wild here:)..
