Got onto the Pacific Hwy at Wahroonga heading to Scone.
It was like a scene from a Zombie movie.
Shredded tyres, trash,wooden pallets, bits of wrecked cars,graffiti everywhere, weeds a metre tall and in some places 2 metres tall, cars and trucks belting along at sonic speeds......Jesus what a sad drive that was.
stayed overnight in Scone
next day driving through Mungindi ( mung in di ),BURNED and borded up shops ,rubbish everywhere....this is probably where they filmed most of the zombie movie!
Crossed the river into QLD ( Balonne Shire ) beautifully sealed roads for hundreds of klms, rubbish nearly none existent, mowed verges, clean non graffities signs, .ile after me of cotton crops and loads of recently made man made dams. Into St George and onto Roma the same clean and good quality roads each etc
Out walking at 5.30 am , already 22 degrees and the town is buzzing with activity.
In Roma for a few days, already have sussed where the op shops etc are
you know a business for the future is homeless people housing
particularly housing for women
Going to look into that, there has to be plenty of government incentive money available $$$$
