Just for clarity's sake - anyone who has thoughts that CN will dump ree on the World market to stuf Lynas, consider this:

Lynas'production facility, systems & ethics are all heading straight towards ISO40001 standards of sustainability - or in the absence of that, very best global practise - with no comparable competitors apart from maybe Moly (but that's not what this is about...)

All the major companies signed-up to take Lynas' output are dependent on maintaining their eco/sustainable KPI's as part of their individual Organisational Environmental Policy

Even if CN does want to drop a few kilotonnes who do you think all the manufacturers are going to go with? Are Toyota, Mitsubishi or Sojitz going to buy from China?

No, they'll pay whatever the agreed basket price with Lynas is and if that's inequitable will try to negotiate down - but it won't be by much. The CN/JPN relationship is a bit shaky if you hadn't noticed.

Or Siemens, will they buy Chinese REE out of preference when they have Lynas in their back pocket? Nope - absolutely no chance whatsoever...

We're setting the standard - be proud & wear those green credentials with pride.

    Build a rocket, boys...
