I've owned this several times and sold out on a couple of occasions when the SP got a little ahead of itself. They're certainly a reliable performer.
They place great store in their continuous dividend growth, which is an admirable quality for an investor but, I also note, that they usually only pay out something between 30% and 50% of the EPS so it's possible to increase dividends even when profits fall back a little.
They can conceivably increase their dividend from $0.87 to $0.97 across the next three years without improving their profit numbers across the same period so Morningstar's prediction is a safe bet.
Their EPS, from memory now, was about $2.00 last year out of which they paid a dividend of $0.87.
Their yield seldom reaches 3%. Not their fault of course, investors will pay a premium for surety.
I sold out in 2021 when the price ran over $30 and have been waiting to buy back in at a lower than $30 price. Not sure that'll happen anytime soon.
It's an extremely difficult business to value with its cross holdings and large share portfolio.
