    re: caught my attention Graham , interesting isnt it ... NEO pay $2.5m for 25% of some nice acreage in California that have since proven oil and gas bearing (via Jack Hamaer 1 sucess) .... CPC pay $22m for 30% of some permits in Texas that have already been drilled although MIGHT contain HC's in zones below previous drills...

    Is it a case of the old saying 'bigger n Texas' ??LOL

    For the life of me cant see value in CPC but happy to see your calcs.
