    Hi Hoistyman, yes shopping centres and malls were facing challenges even before covid. Now the trend towards online is increasing further. So, take a view on the ability of shopping centre owners to innovate and to change. I think current SPs reduce the risks attached to the sector. I say this as a newish investor- my view is based on current prices not on historical pre covid levels.

    Online sales still provide opportunities for REIT- some REIT have invested in warehouses. Some REIT are focussing on the mall as being a destination. With some the department store gives way to several smaller stores that each pay a higher rent per metre. Etc.

    So, happy to accumulate at this stage.
