    Not to contradict you dandman - but if your looking at the increase in revenues - you probably need to offset that by a reduction in the armed forces budgets of alot of countries inlcuding the UK. Quite easy to cut the number of F-35 aircraft ordered.

    Your comment re Israel is in fact correct. Israel approve and even encourage the arming of Saudi Arabia, as they view SA as a shield against attacks from Iran. SA are threatened by Iran's posturing maybe not as much as Israel, but still threatened.

    Note also Israel is purchasing the F-35 as well (15 from memory). Maybe not 'purchasing' maybe receiving 'military aid' in form of aircraft. Who knows.

    For me - QHL's area is not so much in the defence industry but in the passenger aircraft market. A lighter aircraft can fly further, and use less fuel. Defence aircraft will always have a limited range, not matter how heavy they are due to size. The passenger market is where the future is I think. This F-35 contract is just a stepping stone for me.
