The market isn't convincingly buying this spurt in gold. The HUI is 220 today @ $1500 usd whereas back in 2016 the HUI hit around 280 on gold at $1350 USD.
I'm a big fan of the price rises but investors have been a bit tentative in jumping in (referencing the HUI, not GOR specifically).
The rise in 2016 took 8 months to run out. We are 2.5 months into this run up admittedly off a higher base, lets hope there is at least another 6 months of making hay, or better yet a 5yr long bull run.
