I do not see Indonesia as a military threat to Australia as they could not organize good booze up in a brewery to be frank.

Having said that, many people in the 1930's said the same about Japan and look what happened there.

Indonesia is still a third world country and they have a lot on their plate as it is, let alone going to war with Australia.

I don't see Indonesia a threat to Australia, not in the past, not now and not in the near to mid term either.

That said, the world is a changing place and the need for vigilance is every present though history has shown us that in many instances, the real threat to our way of life lays within.
