When the earnings are released it will be old news to some.....one thing that sticks in my craw is the production cost around $3500. There is $1000 a ton that should be going to shareholders. 17,500 x $1000= $17,500,000

So if the plant were running at the specified cost and production shareholders are losing over $17 million a year to the company (Orocobre) who is making money off the production costs. You can figure it anyway you like..but if the projected production costs were miscalculated by 40%...what are we paying 'management' for? I thought the job of management was to make sure that costs were in line with projections. Hell...I could have made a projection of $4000 a ton and been closer than the experts at Orocobre with 30 years experience. Am I just annoyed at being hoodwinked or is that the way all Australian moning operations work? "Tell them anything they want to hear...get their money..and run it the way you like....shareholders are just a nuisance anyway".
