Not sure about once in a lifetime. Less than 5 years ago the index had a 2 in front of it. Now there's a 4 in front of it.
If back in 2003 you told someone in that 2008, we'd be having the worst financial and economic crisis since the Great Depression, and that as a consequence of that the index would be trading at 4111, they'd have a hard time believing it was so high, let alone seeing that number as so undervalued that it represented the cheapest they'd ever see in a lifetime.
