My reading of ORD'S thinking at the moment is that they expect to seal very soon a JV deal with at least one Australian company for a near term production project which will be also backed by the Chinese.
They also want confirm the prospectiveness of Copper Flats enough to secure a FARM IN partner for COPPER FLATS before the end of the year and start the drilling of the most prospective areas before the wet season starts this year.
A third goal is to do sufficient work at Suplejack this year to confirm its prospectivity for gold deposits.
These three events if successsful, will trigger an groundswell of interest in the company thus a rise in the share price so that by the time it comes to fund ORD's share of the Laos project(somtime early next year) ,ORD will be in a much stronger position to effect a good finincial deal eg maybe a loan from the Chinese - since the Chinese will be very keen to keep ORD on side if any or all of the 3 projects mentioned above reveal a good sized resource. Or maybe with a now attractive share price, ORD will be able to offer a share raising or rights issue to shareholders and other investors?
When I last spoke to frank a couple of weeks ago, he said he expects to have good news by the AGM in early? November this year.
NOTE; all of the above are my opinion only. You need to DYOR.
cheers
