I'm an ordinary shareholder, but with a decent size holding. I started building that holding when SN was in charge, so I've been in for quite some time. I never spoke to him though. The size of my holding means DR used to take the time to talk to me regularly, starting when he was CFO under Noske. I have exchanged a few emails and had a few conversations with both Stuart Brown and Faldi Ismail, but the extent of my contact there has been fairly limited.
I have never had any other relationship - personal or professional - with DR, SN, SB, FI, anyone at ECP, anyone in the Seychelles gov, anyone at Ophir or anyone else related to WHL in any way that I know of. I've never been paid in any way by WHL or anyone related to them, or by anyone else in relation to anything I've ever said or done about WHL.
Even if you don't believe me, just believe that before voting either way on the convertible notes that you understand the real implications of either course of action. Both suck. One may leave us with a pittance, the other may leave us with nothing at all.
Monsview has raised some interesting points in the last week, but I remain wary of a very well informed poster who has been relentlessly negative on the stock, and has seemingly taken joy in it's demise.
