A very good friend of mine
(who is now retired but was the 2ic for BHP'S engineering dept)...
tells me that due to the deposit depth requirements and flat surface,the Wirten machines will do the job quite sufficiently.
In fact his exact words were
" Warnie, FMG will not have a problem getting it out.........its the rate of extraction thats the key here, but being flat and low depth and close to infrastructure.....and a great team of engineers...some my old mates..is Ed still there??...they wont have a problem...."
warnie said "But what about the rate of 45 mill per annum"
"They will have it to that rate by September 08"
Now no offence Christos as I enjoy reading everyones opinion on any matter put forward....I'm happy to take his advice here and the advice of the crew on the land...thier knowledge over the operations and extraction methods they wish to adopt is fine by me.....im sure they have it under control.
I will be buying over the next week or 2.
