    Here is a flash back when times were good and the champagne bottles were about to open (ended up getting the champagne cork hitting me between my legs!).

    For me, this is an expensive lesson not only in mining but life. Nothing is worth punting 100%. The stories can be as glossy as a print AD but in the end, there are things beyond the company's control.

    Btw, Macquarie used to own 10% of DML back in April 2011 (assumed to be during the time this article was written).

    Also, as you would know, George Soros is not a mining executive but a seasoned speculator. How sometimes we believe that wealth comes from listening to people of influence (when in infact it has never been the case in human history!)
