Looking back over the monthly chart for AUL...

Several obvious and a few not so obvious spikes become apparent...interestingly, they all occur or start in Feb.

Feb 1987 (17-40c)
Feb 1994 (11-17c)
Feb 1997 (7.5-13c)
Feb 1999 (2-5c)
Feb 2000 (7.9-17c)
Feb 2002 (1.4-3.9c)

So far this month...

Feb 2006 (2 - 3.6)

There are very few noticable periods of substantial rises, falling outside of February.

The question in my mind is...with over 3 weeks still to go in Feb 2006, how far will this one run?
