I think the shareholder you’re referring to has likely exited, but there may still be that Hong Kong hedge fund trickling shares out—possibly aiming to buy back in during a July raise. No idea why they were brought onto the register in the first place!
The bigger issue is trust. OncoSil’s track record of over-promising and under-delivering has worn the market down. Even though they’ve achieved a lot in the last six months, no one’s buying the story without seeing actual dollars.
That said, I think we’re close. The hard work—training, regulatory clearance, early adoption—is done. From first use to regular adoption looks like a 14-month cycle: patient selection, chemo, treatment, follow-up, and repeat. Other surgeons in the same hospital often follow once they see results.Everything now hinges on commercial traction. That’s why G-BA is so important—commercial procedures, fully funded, with volume expected to ramp quickly. From what I’ve heard, numbers there could dwarf all prior commercial activity by year-end.
