i guess for guys who got in at 16c and sell at 48c they have 32c profit at a top tax bracket of 45% is 14c tax or 18c clear. when you add that to the base means you need to buy lower than 34c to breakeven.
So for long term holders who intend to hold to $1 then get the CGT discount it will likely work out better than that. But to traders who bought in the 30's and sell in the 40s and buy back in the 30s, well done.
