Lexiii, please excuse my ignorance, I understand the T+3 day settlement period, but how can a trader sell the stock he or she has just bought before T+3 when it hasn't been settled and they don't actually own it yet? Its late and maybe I have just said something stoopid and in the cold hard light of day I'll think I'm an idiot, but right now I just cannot get my brain around it, sorry.
