If Gold is at $6800 an ounce I suspect the Australia dollar will be so strong that we will be looking at GBP like strength of our currency, and there will be a new gold rush on in Australia. Remember we have a lot of land mass that has to hold more reserves. Already we are seeing Australia's willingness to hold onto its gold developments ie. Prominent Hill. Don't believe the reason of "national security" well, it is for that reason but not in the way its been portrayed.
