congrats to the company on building an impressive facility etc, but I really don't know how they've got to the stage of delivering full production without booking significant sales in advance, if not at least securing bulk 'intent to purchase' orders that are based on production/ quality milestones being met.

I'd expect the US state govt funding would have been made available on the condition the company could demonstrate it's future profitability from real orders it has in the pipeline.

To read now that only now they intend mobilising the sales effort seems a bit bizarre... Where has the Business Development budget for the last 5 years been going? No doubt they have captured leads but why haven't these progressed to the stage that the company can announce it has orders ready to fill the first shipments off the production line?
