I have no loans with GTP either , however should the manager fall by the way side It would probably be a blessing for the grower . As for individuals with loans outstanding , the loan would still need to be paid , nothing would change , they have entered the project under those terms ...and I assume they have claimed the applicable tax benefit .

The project may not be as claimed , but surely when taking part in what I would assume would be a sizable transaction , some responsibility must be taken by the grower . Prepared to take a loan with the manager ? ..and take the tax benefit ? ..then expect the ATO knocking on your door if you suddenly decide you no longer have to meet your obligations , especially considering the total deduction is taken up front .

Also agree however ..very sadly , GTP will be next , all over for the principle .
