Good question, SB2000 .... Looksmart have recently signed a "Licensee", Major Media Partner (yet unannounced, at the request, of this partner).

David Hills (LOOK's CEO) said, in a recent CC, (of this Major Media Co, that LOOK have signed - Q1), that: .........." This large Media Company has bought everything, that was NOT 'bolted down'.

* They bought 'SEARCH Content' because they wanted to 'drive their own search'.

* They bought 'the crawler', because they wanted to drive their OWN search site.

* They bought 'the Advertisor Centre', (along with the 15 most recent improvements), because they wanted to start to deal with their OWN advertisers, in search."

And, about Furl.Net .... he said, (& I just 'love' it!) ................ "That Furl.Net can provide applications that are tightly woven into a Publishers life" !!

Looksmart will supply "content" (FindArticles.com has over 5 Million articles) to this Major Media signing and (at the same time), Looksmart's 'own' search results, will show many current & archived articles, (from this NEW signing) within LOOK's own 'network' of sites. (Looksmart.com, Furl.Net, FindArticles.com & of course, in ALL the 5 new Vertical search sites, LOOK have recently launched).

I (personally), have also identified what looks to be, another 2 MAJOR involvements, Looksmart are 'up to their neck' in. (I prefer NOT to reveal any of those THREE 'deals', that I have mentioned, above, as yet).

I now feel, LOK will get to a minimum of $10pps, by this time next year, if not before !! - Just MHO, that's all.
