Overseas banks still look better than they are. In the US they changed the accounting rules that no longer require them to mark it to market. Instead, just like happened in Japan from 1991 onwards, they have not written down the assets that are worth less than the value on their books. Also, they have moved them off balance sheet as well.
Smoke and mirrors all condoned by the establishment. That is your conspiracy.
